Alfin Frans Nainggolan

Alfin is a co-founder, principal and the Head of Corporate and Commercial Practice Group of F&S Law Office. He gained his lawyering experience through working for two major law firms in Indonesia. Prior to that, Alfin worked as an in house legal counsel in the largest real estate company and a prominent bank in Indonesia.

Alfin is highly valued by clients for his effective legal advice and knowledge on business matters. He was once appointed as a President Director of a subsidiary company (a construction company) within a large state-owned company group in Indonesia. During his term of office in the subsidiary company, he managed to restructure and raise the subsidiary company from collapsed and increase the margin of the subsidiary company from one digit to double digits.

Alfin has assisted numerous clients, both local and multinational, on various commercial transactions and formation of business entities in Indonesia. The businesses of the clients that he has assisted cover manufacturing, trading, mining, power and energy, advertising, tourism, construction, and property and real estate. On construction, property and real estate matters, Alfin is regarded as one of the leading lawyers.

Alfin is also known for his capability in assisting clients on anti-dumping matter. His broad connectivity to various business environments in Indonesia allows him to get access to necessary information and data for the purpose anti-dumping investigations.

Alfin obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Padjadjaran, Bandung – Indonesia in 2008. He is a member of the Indonesian Bar (PERADI). He also holds Certificate of Basic Management of Pension Fund in Indonesia.

Alfin speaks Indonesian, Russian and English.
